The Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust asked the Beaders to put their dreams for themselves and their family's future into beadwork. The dreams began to flow in with beautiful patches of beadwork that depicted dreams of clean water, a roof over their heads, education for their children, to be around to watch their children grow, to be able to buy bread.
The chair is a praise poem for all its creators. Made in South Africa.
This lovingly crafted book is a tribute to all the amazing people that shared their dreams. 160 Bead Artisans were a part of the project. As the Dream for Africa Chair traveled the world, so many were inspired to share their dreams and hopes.
