Philanthropy Philosophy

A year ago on my visit to Haiti, the locals had just broken ground to build a new library in rural Haiti. The current library at that time was very small in size, however, it serviced thousands of people in this remote, rural area. It is wonderful that it makes information accessible to so many there, but a further contribution of books so that children may have access to literacy is needed.

So much great work can be done for the young and old in this region. Books can open all kinds of life-enhancing and life-changing opportunities for children. That being said, Love Travels. Imports. desires to place as many children's books into the hands of as many children in the Haiti community possible.

How To Help

There are two ways you can impact the lives of the children of Haiti:
1) You can provide a generous donation using the donate button above. With your thoughtful contribution, we will order books directly the publishers via one of our partner booksellers.

2) You can opt to visit one of the physical partner locations, listed below, or go online and purchase a children's book. The books are ordered directly from a group of publishers who consolidate orders to be drop-shipped to the library.
